Our Mexico Trip

I wanted to tell a little bit about our trip.  We went to Riviera Maya Mexico.  We stayed at the Blue Bay Grand Esmerelda which is between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen.  It's a newer resort and is very big.  It was one of those all inclusive resorts where everything is included except we had to buy a new shirt for Chris, Sunglasses(he lost 2 pairs in the water) and of course the spa!  All our meals and drinks and room service were included, so we ate lots of chocolate cake!  The food was good we had French one night, steak and lobster another, the buffet which had all sorts of good stuff, it was so yummy!  The first day we stayed at the resort and for the morning we layed out in the sun at the beach and the pool we then went into Playa Del Carmen and shopped and ate and of course I was not thinking that day and only used a spf of 4.........yes that was stupid, Chris and I were fried that night and I mean tomato fried!!  Thursday we rented a car and drove to Tulum which were about an hour and a half away. As we hiked in we saw alot of big iguana's and the ruins were beautiful, no wonder the mayan people settled there right on the crystal blue water!  We swam for hours it was so fun.  Friday we took a ferry to Cozumel -which made me nauseas (no surprise there) and we rented scooters and went to play on the beach which had water igloo's (you can climb up and then jump off) also water trampolines.  We snorkled which was so fun I loved it and to finish it off we drove around the coast of Cozumel on the scooters.  We headed back for the mainland on the ferry which was filled with music and dancing and a man that had a rip in the behind of his shorts it was hilarious as he got up and danced in front of everyone.  Saturday we just layed around the resort at the beach and just enjoyed each others company.  We love Mexico!  The people are great, the food is great and we will definitely go back, hopefully sooner than later.  Thanks to my mom for watching the kids we so appreciated it!

Wow! Sounds amazing! I would love to take a trip like that! Maybe for our 10 year anniversary! That gives Chad 2 years to start earning twice what he makes now! :)
